Hi everyone! This article is dedicated to grandpas cards. Do you have a grandfather that is very special to you? You guys, it could be your grandpa, your poppa, your granddad or even pawpaw! No matter what you call them, grandpas are simply the best — they bring so much love and wisdom into our lives. They support us, guide us and make us feel valued.
One of the most engaged Father's Day activities that you can perform is sending a greeting card to your grandpa. Maybe his birthday is coming up, or maybe you just want to send him a card that says “I love you” for no reason other than the fact that you can. Sending him a beautiful card with warm wishes, not only puts on his face that adorable smile, makes him feel loved.
One of the wonderful things about grandpa is, these guys always have time for you. Whether you want to play a board game of chess, make a pillow fort for two or simply talk to grandpa about the happenings of your day, you can be sure he is there to listen and counter with fun stories. We love that you hang out with him, and it makes you two bond even closer.
If his grandpa loves photography, sending a photo greeting card with a special image of you both together is perfect. Perhaps a photo of the great trip you took together or perhaps just a fun and silly snapshot of both of you playing in the garden. This photo will remind him of all the good times you’ve had together and he'll surely enjoy looking at this. Photos are a great reminder of happy days and can make your card extra special.
Scroll to bottom of post for how to get a card like the sample above… Inside your card, write him a sweet letter telling him what you love about your grandpa. Perhaps he gives the warmest, strongest hugs, or can tell a dad joke that gets you every time. Whatever it is you love about him, tell him in the card so he knows how much you care. Your words will stir his soul and make him feel he is important.
Or, you can write a special poem or quote that reminds you of him. It might be a line from his favorite book, or it could just be a joke he uses all the time. If its something, make sure whatever you do that it would make him smile and think about those good times that you experienced together. A kind message of yours can be a highlight of his day and remind him you are there for him.
This can be a little hard at first, so I suggest writing about a memory you shared. It might be a tale, of something to embarrass you from your last camping trip or an embarrassing family holiday story which brought on nostalgia and laughter between you both. Whatever it might be, make him remember those happy moments and remind him of the great person you see in him. It creates a special bond and maintains that connection.
